A COUNTY Durham hairdresser won a regional award at the British Hairdressing Awards last night (December 3).
County Durham hairdresser Marcus King of Hooker & Young was named North-East Hairdresser of the year at the Hairdressing Journal awards, which were compered by David Walliams, with entertainment provided by rapper and singer Labrinth.
Mr King was one of only two finalists from County Durham to make it through to the final and competed against five other stylists within the title.
