CARETAKERS at a housing company have cleaned up after gaining their first ever job-related qualification.
Dave Phillips, Lee Wright and Mark Graham, who work for Redcar-based Coast and Country, have each earned NVQ Level Two in Caretaking distinctions.
Mr Graham looks after vacant properties with Mr Phillips and Mr Wright working on the company's community investment team.
Iain Sim, chief executive of Coast and Country, said: “We take real pride in staff development, encouraging employees to expand their skills and knowledge and these three caretakers all worked really hard to achieve distinctions.
“They are a credit to themselves and the company, and we have already seen the benefit of their training as they are all tackling more complex projects, such as plastering, painting and decorating.”
