UK Trade and Investment organises United Arab Emirates visit
NORTH-EAST business owners are being encouraged to look to the Middle-East export market to help their company flourish.
UK Trade and Investment, in partnership with the British Embassies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, have organised a market visit to the United Arab Emirates to give firms an opportunity to gauge potential expansion channels.
The visit will coincide with the Arab Healthcare Exhibition and Congress in January.
Stephen Muir, UK Trade and Investment international trade adviser, said: “The Middle-East offers extensive opportunities in a wide of range sectors and this visit will also coincide with the Arab Healthcare Exhibition and Congress.
“This is a four-day event between January 27 and 30 and is the largest healthcare exhibition and congress in the Middle-East and Asia, attracting visitors and delegates from around the world.
“The UK exports around £5.1bn worth of goods and services to the United Arab Emirates every year and as well as the healthcare sector, there is strong demand for a wide range of goods and services such as telecoms, power generating machinery and equipment, and electrical goods.”
