Ward Brothers, in Middlesbrough, part of Palletways network
A NORTH-EAST transport company will play a key role in driving forward European deliveries and help regional firms get a foothold in new markets.
Ward Brothers, in Middlesbrough, is a member of the Palletways freight network, which is now offering a new service to Czech Republic and Slovakia allowing companies to track pallets from collection to delivery.
Ward Brothers has previously delivered goods across the North through hubs in Lichfield, in the West Midlands, and Livingston, Scotland.
Rachael Alpha, Palletways Europe managing director, said: “The addition of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is part of our wider plans to expand in Europe and enhance services to customers.
“It also reinforces our position as Europe’s largest network for the express distribution of palletised goods.”
Palletways has more than 300 depots in 13 countries across Europe.
Last year, Ward Brothers launched a new delivery service with the help of Olympic boxing gold medallist, Nicola Adams, which offers firms speedier delivery times through a £500,000 hub in Leeds.
