Calm Digital, based in Middlesbrough, adds to workforce
A WEB design specialist has broken new ground after contract successes allowed it to create jobs and lift turnover.
Calm Digital, based in Middlesbrough, works on website development and mobile applications, and has now increased office space to cater for its growing workforce.
The firm, which saw turnover rise by 25 per cent, has taken on Teesside University graduate Holly Stead as a graphic designer, as well as developers Tom Carrick and Mark Armstrong.
The move comes after the company secured a number of contracts, including work with Middlesbrough Council on its 2013 Christmas campaign, and a deal with compression and cutting tool maker, Izumi, based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
Bianca Robinson, Calm Digital managing director, said: “We are delighted with our continued growth.
“The team’s incredible hard work and service has resulted in a number of contracts, which in turn has led to our significant increase in turnover and three members of staff.”
