AN ENGINEERING and project management firm has won a British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) award.

The company, which employs 86 workers serving the process, offshore, onshore oil and gas, and steel and iron industries, was recognised for its rapid growth since being set up in 2011.
Bryan Bunn, Nortech managing director, said: “This really is a fantastic testament to the hard work and dedication of the team in shaping how we have developed as a company.
“We have experienced phenomenal growth since we set up in April 2011, and are very proud of our achievements.”
Earlier this year, Nortech Group revealed plans to create jobs and increase revenues by 50 per cent to £15m in two years.
Last year, it won a major contract with EnQuest to extend the operating life of the Thistle Alpha platform, near Aberdeen, by 15 years.
