A NORTH-EAST housing organisation has appointed a new interim chief executive.
Michael Doyle has taken up the role at East Durham Homes, based in Peterlee, County Durham.
Mr Doyle was previously East Durham Homes' director of neighbourhood services, and has 30 years’ experience in the housing sector.
He replaces Paul Mains, who is taking up a new role at South Tyneside Homes.
Mr Doyle said: “I'm really looking forward t building on the great foundations laid by Paul.
“I'm also confident that with the continued support of our management team, staff, board, customers, the council and our partners, we can build on our success and continue to develop and improve services.”
Paul Morgan, East Durham Homes' chairman, said: “Michael has an in-depth knowledge of the needs and aspirations of our customers and staff and will be able to continue to lead the company through the stock transfer process.”
