A REGIONAL enterprise agency has added to its team to continue its expansion.

The North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) has welcomed special projects manager Lilla Preston.

Originally joining Sunderland-based BIC to deliver the SME Innovation Programme, her new role will also focus on additional projects.

She said: “The BIC is committed to maximising the opportunities for transnational partnership across the range of its enterprise offer - business incubation and office space, business start-up, innovation and education and training.

“The team are wonderful and there’s a real desire to create new innovative projects that add value to customers.”

Paul McEldon, BIC chief executive, added: “The BIC recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, during which time it has continued to go from strength to strength.

“Our people are at the core of our success and it’s wonderful to welcome Lilla to the team.”
