ENTERPRISING Women, the UK’s largest national community for female entrepreneurs, is launching a new club in Durham on Thursday September 25.

It is estimated that there are almost 1.5 million self-employed women in the UK generating more than £130m, a figure that is set to double over the next ten years.

Through these local business clubs, Enterprising Women will support businesswomen through training, mentoring, networking and practical advice to help them reach their potential.

The Mayor, Mayoress, and MP Roberta Blackman Woods are attending the launch, alongside local business owners.

This club will meet on a monthly basis to bring together like-minded local female entrepreneurs, with a focus on knowledge sharing, guest speakers, success stories and workshops.

Club host, Nancy Radford, has more than 18 years experience as owner of a successful company before setting up Roundtuit Durham, helping authors self-publish. A qualified coach and mediator, she is renowned for giving others the skills and tools to ensure their success.

The event take place at New College Durham from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
