A CHARTERED accountant and business adviser is expanding after unveiling a new associate.

Waltons Clark Whitehill, in Hartlepool, says it wants two workers for its tax team to meet increased demand.

The move comes as George Hardey, who joined the firm 15 years ago as a tax senior, was promoted to associate.

Heather O’Driscoll, managing director, said: “The growth of clients is a great opportunity to create a new role which recognises and acknowledges George’s skills and experience.

“He is an excellent member of the team and his knowledge of our clients and the issues they face make him an ideal person to step into the role of an associate.”
