A HEATING technology firm has merged parts of its operation to create a larger division able to provide more products and better support.
North-East-based Myson has merged its underfloor heating operation with that of sister organisation, Vogel and Noot, to form Myson Floortec.
The division will operate from the company’s headquarters at Team Valley, near Gateshead, and a central distribution centre in Birtley, Gateshead, with an enlarged sales force and administration team.
Myson has also announced that they will dedicate a modern training and technical support centre to the initiative.
Barry Lynch, Myson’s group product manager said: “Through this reorganisation and investment, we will be able to provide more new products, greater technical support and dedicated deliveries.
“Underfloor heating is becoming an increasingly popular method to heat our homes. In 2007, the UK domestic heating market was valued at £1.3bn.”
