AFTER the release of every Rolling Stones’ greatest hits, it seems there’s another one around the corner to replace it.
Grrr! however, marks the group’s 50th anniversary and supersedes the many compilations from the last few years by stretching to 50 and 80-track versions, featuring each classic tune in chronological order. The dirty, bluesy rock of new songs Doom And Gloom and One More Shot conclude this career-spanning collection. This release will prove difficult for fans to buy the back catalogue yet again and be rewarded with just two new songs. Still, completists will appreciate this.
