Jonathan Kent’s atmospheric production of Tosca features three of today’s finest singers. Angela Gheorghiu plays Tosca and is paired with Jonas Kaufmann’s Cavaradossi. Bryn Terfel plays a malevolent Scarpia. The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House is conducted by Antonio Pappano in this compelling account.
