Talk in Durham on benefit of radio carbon dating

A TALK on the benefits of radio carbon dating to archaeologists will be outlined at a public lecture on Saturday (October, 27).

Durham University lecturer Dr Andrew Millard is this month’s guest speaker of The Architectural and Archaeological Society of Durham and Northumberland.

Dr Millard, the society president, gives the talk: ‘From Djoser’s Pyramids to Durham Cathedral: Radio Carbon Dating for Archaeology’, at the meeting, in Room 141, Elvet Riverside, New Elvet, Durham, starting at 2.30pm. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome.
