The Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum, in North Road, Darlington, will open its doors for a Spooktacular event on Sunday, October 28, between 11am and 3pm, when owls, creepy crawlies and ghost pirates will gather on the old railway platforms.
There will also be a spooky magician, a mini train ride, storytelling, juggling, balloon modelling, treasure hunt and arts and crafts, as well as prizes for the best Hallowe’en fancy dress costume.
As part of the celebrations anyone signing up for the Head of Steam’s family annual pass this Sunday, which gives entry to the museum for a year for two adults and two children, will pay £10 instead of the usual £15.
