Museum holds a potato week

POTATO WEEK: Ryedale Folk Museum is celebrating the potato with cooking and crafts during half term.

From Monday (29), the museum, in Hutton-le-Hole, near Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, will be running the potato activities and on Wednesday (31) there will be a Halloween party between 6pm and 8pm with lots of spooky games and family fun.

Warm clothing and a torch are recommended.

Entry to the museum is £7 for adults and £6 for children, and it is open from 10am to 4.30pm.
