BOYCOTT CALLS: Darlington FC chairman Denis Pinnegar has urged fans not to protest at the West Auckland away game on November 10, following the announcement that ticket prices for the fixture will be double the normal admission price.
A fans' Facebook group, calling for the game to be boycotted, has more than 220 'likes'.
Mr Pinnegar said: "There is talk about fans turning up outside the West Auckland ground to protest which is something that the board would vigorously discourage as it will lead to unnecessary confrontation and the risk of disruption, which will not be in the interests of Darlington Football Club.
"We are appealing to fans to continue to be the great ambassadors for Darlington Football Club they have been all season.”
