CREATIVITY is coming to Redcar seafront as the first two creative companies sign up to occupy space at the £8.3m ‘Palace Hub’.

Tad Web Solutions Ltd and Purple Tree Creative Productions Ltd have agreed to occupy space at the exciting new base for the creative industry.

Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Cllr Mark Hannon said:

“The Hub is an integral part of the £75 million of investment in Redcar and will provide five floors of high quality workspace for the creative community to flourish when it opens in the New Year.

The workspace will help to create 60 new jobs, support 150 businesses and attract much needed income to the local economy.

I am delighted that local creative companies are signing up to occupy space and look forward to seeing more talent sign up to this fantastic new facility.”

Managing Director of Tad Web Solutions Ltd, Ian Elcoate said:

“As a growing and ambitious web applications business, Tad Web Solutions, see our move to the Hub as an integral part of our growth strategy.

The move to great new premises and being involved right at the start of an exciting regeneration program, with other creative businesses around us to bounce ideas off, will be ideal for the growth of our business.”

Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Tourism, Cllr Olwyn Peters added:

“As well as quality workspace for the creative community the Hub will also provide gallery space for locally and nationally renowned artists. This will provide the town with another attraction for visitors and residents to enjoy.”

Director of Purple Tree Creative Productions Ltd, Dee Wold added:

“The creative Hub is a fantastic opportunity for creative businesses to grow and develop, and most importantly, to interact with other ‘creatives’ on a daily basis. I am very excited about the overall buzz that this opportunity creates for business in the borough! I can’t wait to get in there!”
