A DIAMOND encrusted watch worth thousands of pounds has been stolen in a house burglary.

The men’s Rolex watch, which is gold with diamonds on its face, was taken from a house in Bearpark, County Durham, between 9am and 3.30pm on Monday (November 5).

A ladies’ Rolex watch was also taken.

The two watches had a combined value of around £7,000.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone with information about the burglary.
