A DIAMOND encrusted watch worth thousands of pounds has been stolen in a house burglary.
The men’s Rolex watch, which is gold with diamonds on its face, was taken from a house in Bearpark, County Durham, between 9am and 3.30pm on Monday (November 5).
A ladies’ Rolex watch was also taken.
The two watches had a combined value of around £7,000.
Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone with information about the burglary.
They are asked to call Durham Police on 101 and ask for PC Jeff Barksby at Durham City police station or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
