A SINGER from the North-East is to perform at a charity fundraising concert to raise money for a teenage cancer charity.
Tenor Ian Storey, of Chilton, near to Spennymoor, County Durham, will join Jai McDowell, the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2011, at the Christmas at the Cathedral concert.
They are amongst a host of stars, including Lindisfarne’s Billy Mitchell and TV’s Tim Healy, who will be at the Teenage Cancer Trust charity event It is being held at the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas, Newcastle, on Thursday December 6, at 7pm, with doors open at 5.30pm.
