LANDOWNERS wanting to take part in renewable energy schemes are being sought by a consultancy.
Environmental and agricultural consultancy ADAS will be hosting a renewable energy advice clinic in Northallerton on Wednesday, November 21.
It is looking for land suitable for renewable energy projects including single wind turbines, anaerobic digestion plants and is offering to pay all feasibility, planning and development costs.
Once the clean energy projects have received planning permission, ADAS says it will install and operate the project, offering landowners a share of the revenue.
Helen Wyman, farm and renewable energy consultant at ADAS said: “We will be hosting events around the country in November and December focusing on renewable energy options for farms.
“Any interested landowners are welcome to attend, and have their land assessed using our screening tool.”
