TWO children joined the mayor for the switching on of Chilton's Christmas lights.
Kyran Richmond, who has the rare life-limiting disorder Juvenile Batten Disease, and this year’s gala princess, Megan Slater, joined Coun Elizabeth Bruce at tonight’s event. (Friday, November 23)
Pupils from Chilton Primary School spread festive cheer by singing carols and members of St Aidan's Church, in Chilton, handed out refreshments.
Santa also took time out to drop in on the event.
The lights are paid for by donations and fundraising activities throughout the year and the committee is appealing for help to continue the tradition.
