Ryedale restaurant hosts charity Christmas bake-off

PEOPLE are invited to take part in a Christmas bake off at a leading restaurant.
The Great Harome Christmas Bake Off will be held at The Star Inn’s Cross House Lodge in Ryedale, North Yorkshire on Sunday, December 2 .
It will be judged by a panel including proprietor chef at the Star Inn, Andrew Pern and actor Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle in Emmerdale.
Entries are £5 per cake and categories include a festive fruit feast, chocolate Christmas cakes, and an under-12s children’s class.
All cake entries much be registered at the venue in Harome, near Helmsley, by 1.30pm for judging to begin.
There will also be a raffle and Pampered Chef stall at the afternoon event, which along with other funds raised on the day will go to the MS Society.
