LIBRARY TIMES: Crook Library will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve but will open again on Thursday and Friday Dec 27 and 28 at 9.30am before closing again on New Years Eve at 2pm. It then opens again on Wednesday Jan 2nd at 9.30am. Library times for the New Year are Monday 1.30pm-5pm, Tuesday 9.30am-7pm, Wednesday 9.30am-12.30pm, Thursday 9.30am-7pm, Friday 9.30am-5pm. Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm.

NO CALLS: At a recent Pact meeting in Howden-Le-Wear P.C.S.O. Rebecca Carey reported that there had been no calls from residents in the village relating to Anti Social Behaviour for 9 weeks. The meeting felt however that dog fouling still remained a problem. The first meeting in the New Year will be at 6.30pm on Wed Jan 9 in the village Community Centre.

COFFEE MORNING: Howden-Le-Wear Community Centre hold a Coffee Morning and Xmas Raffle this Saturday Dec 22 from 10am-12noon.
