POLICE have appealed for information from club-goers who may have witnessed a dance floor assault in which an 18-year-old man suffered a fractured cheekbone.
The incident is said to have taken place in the Digital nightclub, in Newcastle city centre, at 12.30am, on Sunday, December 9.
Police have examined CCTV from inside the Times Square premises and have also asked anyone with information to ring Northumbria Police on 101, extension 69191.
CARS TORCHED: Two cars appear to have been deliberately set alight in a residential street at the weekend. Police have appealed for information following the apparent arson attack which badly damaged a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Focus, in Morris Crescent, Boldon Colliery, South Tyneside, at 11.55pm on Sunday (DECEMBER 16). Firefighters were summoned to put out both fires. Anyone with information is asked to ring police on 101, extension 69191.
