A YORKSHIRE Dales youth hostel is to undergo a £460,000 redevelopment.
YHA Malham will be upgraded to include private family rooms, a restaurant and education facilities.
The numbers of beds at the youth hostel is being reduced from 82 to 81 as part of its refurbishment in order to provide an increased number of rooms with en-suite facilities.
Work will be completed in February and it will re-open to the public with a total of 19 rooms, sleeping between two and 8 people.
