School leavers invited to careers event

A COLLEGE is holding a careers event to help young people choose their future profession.
Darlington College is hosting an open event next Tuesday (January 15), which will include practical activities, visits around the workshops and a chance to talk to tutors and guidance experts.
Principal Tim Grant will be hosting a series of talks to prospective students and friends and families throughout the evening.
Experts will be on hand to assist potential students choose the correct course and complete an online application form.
The event is aimed at pupils considering a full-time course or apprenticeship in September and takes place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
