Chilton civic dinner in aid of charity appeal

A TOWN mayor is inviting people to join her at a civic dinner that will raise funds for charity.

Mayor of Chilton, Coun Elizabeth Bruce, and her consort, Coun Alan Bruce, will host the event at Chilton & Windlestone Workingmen’s Club on Friday, February 15.

The dinner will be held in the club's concert hall from 7pm, with guests receiving a reception drink on arrival followed by a five course meal and live entertainment by the Stone Cutters.

There will also be a raffle and tombola.

Proceeds will be donated to the mayor’s nominated charities- the Great North Air Ambulance and organisations within Chilton.
