Police hunt thieves after £4,700 worth of goods stolen

THIEVES HUNTED: Police are hunting thieves who stole £4,700 worth of Generation steel fencing and brackets. The crooks broke into a Balfour Beatty construction compound near Simonside Farm, Garmondsway, Ferryhill, between 3.30pm on December 23 and 7am on January 9. Anyone who can help police enquiries should contact PC Lesley Nixon, at Bishop Auckland Police Station, on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
