HOLLY BAND: The Baldy Holly Band are playing at the Market Tavern, South Burns, Chester-le-Street, tonight ( Saturday, January 19). The gig is free and starts at 9pm.
EXTENSION PLAN: Plans to build a two storey extension at the back of a house in Eleventh Street, Blackhall, have been lodged with Durham County Council
MONKEYING AROUND: Rock band The Beer Monkeys will perform at the Red Lion, Milbanke Close, Ouston, tonight (Saturday, January 19) at 9pm. Entry is free.
ADVICE SESSION: West Rainton Jubilee Hall will be the venue of an outreach advice session by Durham Citizens Advice Bureau on Thursday, January 24 between 12.30 and 1.30pm.
