Police appeal after thefts from cars

POLICE APPEAL: Police in Newton Aycliffe are appealing for witnesses after two cars were broken into. Windows on the two cars on Raby Drive, in the Woodham area, were broken and items were stolen from the vehicles. A set of golf clubs and a substantial amount of Dewalt power tools were taken. The break-in took place overnight between January 16 and 17. Anyone who can help police enquiries should call Newton Aycliffe police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
