Bowburn's breakfast squad are super heroes

YOUNG children are signing up to join the “Breakfast Squad”, as part of a healthy eating scheme.
Bowburn Infant and Nursery School, in Bowburn, near Durham, is using a new set of superhero-themed resources produced by bakers Kingsmill, titled The Breakfast Squad, to help children understand the benefits of eating breakfast.
Trish Fay, a teacher at the school, said: “These resources are great for our children. Superheroes was the theme for a creative curriculum project last term, so it fits really nicely with the work they’re doing in lessons too.”
