Charity fundraising dinner for air ambulance

A CHARITY dinner is to be held by a town’s mayor to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance.
Councillor Elizabeth Bruce, mayor of Chilton, and her consort Councillor Alan Bruce, will also raise money for Chilton-based groups at the Mayor’s Civic Dinner on February 15.
There will be music by the Stone Cutters plus a raffle and tombola at the dinner which will be at Chilton and Windlestone Workingmen’s Club from 7.30pm.
Tickets must be bought no later than February 8, and information on any special dietary requirements must be provided by then.
Tickets are £21 per person and are on sale from the Chilton Town Council’s offices with details via 01388-721788.
