First production of new season for Durham Dramatic Society

A DRAMATIC society is about to kick off its new season with its first production of the year.

Durham Dramatic Society presents its first show of 2013 with a sizzling production of The Constant Wife by Somerset Maugham.

Playing on the intrigue of infidelity, this brittle drawing room comedy of marital manners poses questions about the relationship and differences between men and women.

The mid-20th-century play will be staged at the 70-seat City Theatre, in Fowlers Yard, Durham City opening on Sunday (February 10) and running until Saturday, February 16 February.

Performances start at 2.30pm on Sunday, and at 7.30pm on Monday to Saturday.

Tickets cost £6.50 (concessions available on Sunday and Monday at £5.00) and can be bought from the Gala Box Office, Millennium Place, Durham. For further details call 0191-332-4041.
