Richmond open air production needs more men to get involved
5:17pm Tuesday 12th February 2013 in News
A THEATRE company is searching for more men to get involved with a open-air community play to be staged this summer.
North Country Theatre’s artistic director, Nobby Dimon, is calling for men as he about to cast volunteer participants in the community play 'Blame it on Bartle!'
He said: “Having planned a production which includes lead miners and farmers I need to have men – especially in the 20–40 age range to play the parts.
“However since finalising performance dates a number of people have had to drop out.
“It will be a fun and different experience and we’d love to hear from people who can commit to coming to rehearsals over the next four months and who will be available for the six performances."
The production will be staged outdoors at Richmond Castle, Kiplin Hall, Grinton Lodge Youth Hostel and Bolton Castle between July 4 and 13.
