Thieves steal DVDs and video games from Newton Aycliffe house

THIEVES forced their way into an unoccupied house at Escomb Close, Newton Aycliffe, and stole video games and DVDs. The intruders then attempted to break into another property on the same street but were disturbed and made off in a black vehicle. The incident occurred between 6pm and 6.30pm on Monday, February 11. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555111.
POLICE APPEAL: Between February 1 and 8 the trims and badge were stolen off a Ford Transit parked in Guthrum Place, Newton Aycliffe. Anyone with information is asked to contact Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555111.
HANDLING COURSE: A manual handling course covering health and safety issues at home and in the work place will take place at Agnew Community Centre, Morrison Close, Newton Aycliffe, from 10am to 2pm on Friday, March 1.
