Police appeal over Consett break-in

POLICE in Consett are seeking information about a house burglary in Roseberry Terrace which happened overnight on January 28/29.
A woman was inside with her two-year-old daughter when someone broke in and searched the house, taking various items including a distinctive Black Advent laptop with two burn marks on it.
The occupants were unharmed but the woman was upset by the incident.
Police want to speak to anyone with information about the break-in or who may have been offered stolen items for sale.
