Police arrest suspected jewellery store robber

POLICE have arrested a man following an armed robbery at a jewellery store on Huntriss Row in Scarborough on Saturday afternoon (February 23).
A man went into the store and banged a metal bar on the desk. He grabbed a number of high value watches from a display and fled.
Police arrested a suspect, and another man in his company, within 16 minutes of the emergency call.
