TICKETS for Bishop Auckland Town Team’s Christmas Lights Appeal grand prize draw will be on sale at a stall in the Newgate Centre, between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, March 2.
The draw will be made by Mayor Councillor Charlie Kay at 3pm.
Prizes on offer are a 32ins Samsung LED TV, a DVD player, a pair of mobile phones and a ladies watch.
The Town Team is trying to raise £20,000 throughout the year for new Christmas lights for Newgate Street.
CLUB MEETING: The annual general meeting of the Bishop Auckland Royal Air Forces Association Club will take place at its premises on Cockton Hill Road, on Thursday, March 14, at 8pm.
