Pupils of Durham School promoting production of Beauty and the Beast
PUPILS at Durham High School for Girls dressed up as Disney characters today (Friday, March 1) to promote the forthcoming school production of Beauty and the Beast – and raise money for charity.
Everyone the nursery to the Sixth Form got into the spirit and the corridors were filled with everything from dalmatians, princesses and penguins to Minnie Mouses and Maid Marion's. Proceeds raised will be donated to Barnardo's.
The production will be staged at Durham’s Gala Theatre at 7.30pm from Thursday March 7 to Saturday 9 March, with a 2.30pm matinee performance on Saturday.
