Songs of Praise service to celebrate 150 years

ST CUTHBERT'S Church, North Road, Durham, will hold a Songs of Praise service as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations on Sunday (March 10) at 4pm. All are welcome.
DURHAM RAMBLERS: The Durham Ramblers are planning an eight-mile walk around Dalton and Gayles, in County Durham, on Wednesday, March 13. The walk will start at 10.30am. For more information, call Tony Royston on 0191-383-2995 or 07776-662-669.
SALE DATE: Elvet Methodist Church, on Old Elvet, Durham, will hold a table top sale on Saturday (March 9) from 10am until noon. Tables are £10 each to hire. Entry costs £1. For more information, call Penny Bissell on 0191-334-3850.
COLLECTIONS PLANNED: There will be a collection day for Durham Foodbank at Morrison’s, in Chester-le-Street, on Saturday (March 9) from 9am to 5pm. Future collections are planned for April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13 and August 10. For more information, visit durhamcp.org.uk
