A Blues Brothers tribute band and local young groups will feature in a concert to raise money for the Chester-le-Street Community Centre on Saturday March 16 at 7pm at the centre on Newcastle Bank. Tickets cost £8 (£4 for students under 18) from the centre on 0191-388-4752.
DANCE CLUB: A dancercise session for over-16s is held at the Chester-le-Street Community Centre, Newcastle Bank, on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 7.30pm The cost is £3.50. For details e-mail nyt1147@gmail.com
ROCK NIGHT: Rock band FAB will play the Red Lion, Milbanke Close, Ouston, tomorrow night (Saturday, March 9) at 9pm. Entry is free.
HOUSING DROP-IN: Cestria Community Housing will hold a drop-in for tenants at St John’s Court, Sacriston, on Wednesday, March 13, from 2 to 3pm.
ACCESS RAMP: Durham County Council is being asked to grant planning permission for a disabled access ramp to be installed at the front of a house in Malvern Avenue, Chester-le-Street.
