Bethan Lee from Newton Aycliffe is competing for a place in the finals of Teen Queen UK
A COUNTY Durham teenager is calling on the public to help her reach the next round of a prestigious beauty pageant.
Bethan Lee, of Newton Aycliffe, is currently third out of 50 hopefuls competing for a place in the finals of Teen Queen UK in London this summer.
Only the top two girls will secure a place and less than 60 votes stand between Bethan and her closest rival.
The 14-year-old has never entered a pageant before but is no stranger to competitions, having won many trophies for ballroom and Latin dance.
Bethan’s mum Karen Lee urged people to vote for her daughter.
“She is beautiful inside and out,” she added.

Calls cost 75p plus standard network charge and all money goes to the Make A Difference Foundation - a fund set up by Madventurer to support volunteering projects.
