HEALTH CHECK: Scans for risk of osteoporosis will be available on Monday, March 25, from noon to 2pm, at Thirsk Town Hall, 3pm to 5pm, at Northallerton Forum, and on Tuesday, March 26, from 9am to noon, at Richmond Town Hall. BOOKED UP: Thirsk School has celebrated World Book Day by providing pupils with a £1 book token for one of eight specially published World Book Day £1 books. The school’s Learning Resource Centre held several competitions including a Roman mysteries book quiz, Cathy Cassidy word search and to design a book mark.
