Society needs actors for show

ACTORS are being sought for a group’s autumn production.
Chester-le-Street Amateur Operatic Society is celebrating its 110th Anniversary by presenting the classical musical Singing in the Rain in November.
Rehearsals begin on Monday (March 18), with an open night at which plans for the show will be outlined. The society meets every Monday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the town’s Park View Community Theatre.
A society spokesman said: “Anyone interested in becoming a member and taking part in the show will be made very welcome."
