Charity Easter egg tombola returns to Darlington

AN annual Easter fundraising drive by a Darlington hospice will return this week.

The St Teresa’s Hospice Easter Egg Tombola will be held in Queen Street Shopping Centre with more than 100 Easter eggs available to win each day until March 30.

The tombola raised £6,646.61 for St Teresa’s last Easter and organisers are hoping to beat that sum this year. The tombola stand will open on Monday (March 18) until Saturday, March 30, excluding Sundays. Tickets are four for £1.

To run the two week event, St Theresa’s needs more than 2,000 Easter eggs and is looking for donations from the public. Donations can be left at the hospice, on Woodland Road, or call supporter services on 01325-254321.
