A CHARITY which supports farming in rural County Durham has received is offering training in a range of driving skills.
The training sessions being offered by Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services (Utass), in Middleton-in-Teesdale, have been made possible thanks to support from the Sir Tom Cowie Charitable Trust.
Sessions include Lantra tractor driving for youngsters aged 13 to 16 and pre-test tractor driving for 16-year-olds.
The funding also cover car driving lessons and theory tests and car and trailer sessions.
Utass project manager Diane Spark said the training sessions were aimed at those who might not otherwise be able to afford them.
Application forms are available from Utass. Call 01833-641010 for further details.
