MUSIC and real ale fans toasted to the success of a Hartlepool band’s new album with a specially brewed beer.
Richmond based microbrewery Mithril Ales created the Jarmalade brew in to celebrate the launch of The Jar Family’s new album of the same name.
The band, who have a cult following in their hometown, launched their album in Hartlepool on Saturday followed by an evening performance to a packed crowed at The Forum music venue in Darlington.
The concert came as part of The Forum’s first ever beer festival which ran throughout the Bank Holiday weekend and also saw music from North East Blues legends Erik and the Vikings and Darlington singer-songwriter Hayley McKay.
