Chilton charity night, Parkinson's meeting in Spennymoor, Tindale Pact
A TOWN mayor is inviting people to the first fundraising event of her year in office.
Chilton Mayor, Coun Elizabeth Bruce, and her consort Coun Alan Bruce will host a charity evening with live music from Kris Atkins and Kelly Anne Smith at Chilton Workingmen’s Club on Friday, September 6, from 7.30pm to 11pm.
Tickets are £3 from Chilton Town Council or on the door, proceeds in aid of the NSPCC and projects within Chilton. For details call 01388-721788.
PARKINSONS GROUP: The South Durham Branch of Parkinson's UK will meet at St Paul’s Centre, in Spennymoor, on Monday, September 9, 2pm to 4pm. MOBILE MEETING: PCSO Michael Atkinson will hold a PACT (police and communities together) meeting at Costa Coffee, Tindale Crescent, Bishop Auckland, on Wednesday September 4, 10am to 3pm. Residents can discuss community issues or ask advice, no appointment needed.
