A SUMMER fair at Riverside View Care Home, in Hutton Avenue, Darlington, on Saturday (August 31) helped to raise more than £1,100 for residents at the home.
Staff would like to thank the Red Hall Dance Academy for opening the event, and officers from the fire service and police, as well as volunteers from St Teresa’s Hospice who helped out at the event.
Claire Liddy, activities coordinator at the home, said: “It was a fantastic couple of hours. The residents had a whale of a time.”
The money will go towards the residents’ comfort fund.
